A private office in the Heights, Houston
Twelve studios at 1516 N Durham. Real walls, real doors, a lock that works. If you have been tired of the kitchen table, this is the room.
Junto House is a twelve-studio workspace at 1516 N Durham Drive in Houston Heights. Every studio is a real private office with a real door. Here is what it is, what it is not, and what it costs.
What it is
Twelve private studios on one floor, ranging from 66 to 148 square feet. Every studio is yours alone. The smallest rooms are interior, the larger rooms have windows, and the largest sits in a corner with two exposures of natural light. Studios are priced by size and light, not by tier.
What it is not
No open floor plan. No hot desks. No day passes. You cannot walk in and pay by the hour for a seat. A shared meeting room is available to the public by the hour or the day, but the studio floor is members-only.
If you have toured shared spaces in the Heights and left feeling like the real work would still happen at your kitchen table, this is the room you have been looking for.
Who is here
Independent founders shipping product. Creatives building a body of work. Investors who need a discreet meeting environment. Restaurateurs who want a personal office away from the line. Remote professionals who spend the day on calls and want to close a door.
Pricing
Studios run from $975 for the smallest interior room to $1,800 for the largest windowed corner. Price follows size and light. The shared meeting room is open to the public when not booked by members.
Everything is inclusive: utilities, internet, coffee, and basic kitchen stock. No setup fee. No initiation fee.
Location
1516 N Durham Drive sits on the west side of the Heights, between I-10 and 15th Street. Parking is in front. The Heights Hike-and-Bike Trail is a five-minute walk.
The Shepherd-Durham corridor has been in a long-term Houston Public Works rebuild. The finished sections look beautiful: wider sidewalks, new trees, calmer traffic. N Durham is completed up to our block. If you approach from the south, expect active construction in places. We will send a simple map from wherever you are coming from.
Heights context
The Heights is not where you go to be seen. It is where people who build things choose to be. Terry Black's, Hotel Daphne, Swift Building, Afuri Ramen, and the mid-morning quiet on Yale all sit within a short walk. If you already love the neighborhood, Junto House will feel like an extension of why you love it.
How it works
